For The Love of The Hunt
One of my long time friends, Kristy, from Cherry Grove requested me to take her son's photos right after this week's snow. We treaded out in camo while carrying shadowgrass, duck calls, and decoys. We were locked and loaded, baby. I hadn't taken advantage of Fair Bluff's scenic river walk until then. As we carefully walked on the boardwalk, I realized that this would only be the beginning of my love affair with the boardwalk. It meandered around and over the Lumber laced in snow. I was fretful about forgetting my boots, but without fear we hopped onto the ground for a few shots by the icey water. Cayden led the way, and I followed. If he had bullets, he would have definately slayed a few that day. At the end of the shoot, I knew Cayden was well on his way to being a master outdoorsman, and I was so glad Kristy requested me to take a short trip to North Carolina's most scenic river.
